Weekly Digest

Automated weekly email summary of your AI visibility metrics

Overview

The Weekly Digest is an automated email that summarizes your AI visibility performance across all projects in your organization. It is delivered every Monday and gives your team a single snapshot of what happened in the past seven days — without needing to log in.

What the Digest Contains

Each digest email includes a per-project card with the following metrics:

MetricDescription
Visibility ScoreYour current visibility percentage, plus the week-over-week change (shown in green for gains, red for drops)
SnapshotsTotal number of snapshots captured during the period
Pending ActionsCount of open or in-progress optimization actions from the Insights engine
Alerts TriggeredNumber of alert rules that fired during the week (only shown if greater than zero)
Top InsightThe most recent AI-generated optimization suggestion for the project (up to 200 characters)

If your organization has multiple projects, each project gets its own card in the email. The digest covers the full 7-day period ending on the day of delivery.

At the bottom of the email, a View Full Dashboard button links directly to your AEO Optima dashboard for deeper analysis.

When It Is Sent

The weekly digest runs every Monday at 8:00 AM UTC. It covers the previous 7 days (Monday through Sunday).

The digest is processed as a Render cron job (aeo-optima-weekly-digest) that iterates through all eligible organizations and sends personalized emails via Resend.

Who Receives It

The digest is sent to every organization member who has the digest_enabled flag turned on in their profile. By default, this setting is enabled for new users.

  • All roles receive it — owners, admins, members, and viewers all get the same digest content.
  • One email per organization — if a user belongs to multiple organizations, they receive a separate digest for each.
  • Requires a valid email — members without an email address on their profile are skipped.

Plan Requirements

The weekly digest is a plan-gated feature. It is available on the following plans:

PlanWeekly Digest
FreeNot available
StarterAvailable
ProfessionalAvailable
EnterpriseAvailable

Organizations on the Free plan do not receive digest emails. Upgrading to Starter or above enables the feature immediately.

How to Enable or Disable

For yourself

  1. Navigate to Settings → Profile (or click your avatar in the header).
  2. Toggle the Weekly Digest option on or off.
  3. Changes take effect on the next scheduled delivery.

For your organization

The digest is automatically available for all members once your organization is on a Starter plan or above. There is no organization-wide on/off switch — each member controls their own subscription via their profile settings.

Tip: The footer of every digest email includes a note that preferences can be managed in profile settings.

Best Practices

  • Keep digest enabled for key stakeholders. Leadership and strategy team members benefit from a weekly pulse without needing to check dashboards.
  • Use the digest as a triage signal. If alerts triggered or visibility dropped, click through to the dashboard for details.
  • Pair with scheduled reports. The digest gives a quick summary; scheduled reports (Pro-Individual and above) provide the deep-dive analysis.
  • Review pending actions weekly. The digest surfaces your open action count — use Monday mornings to triage and prioritize.

  • Alerts — Real-time notifications when metrics cross thresholds
  • Reports — On-demand and scheduled AI Brand Intelligence reports
  • Plans & Pricing — Compare plan features and limits
  • Analytics — Deep-dive into your visibility and sentiment data
